“When someone doesn’t do something that you think they ought to do, that discrepancy gets you uptight, gets you angry or frustrated. The thing that’s making you uptight is that you have a model in your head about how you think that other person should’ve acted. When you can look at other people’s behavior and your own behavior and see the perfection in it, you don’t judge and therefore change can occur, because you’re meeting the person in the place behind their behavior.”
